I’ve been so frazzled lately. Not only because i still haven’t had my grad. requirements done but also because I’m not quite certain whether i will pass or fail my Statistics subject. Add the fact that my grand uncle has just died days ago, which made the family mourn. From Academics to love life, family problems to friends’ issues, in all of these aspects, i’m carrying a burden that prevents me from moving forward and making decisions.
After having been involved in Social NetWars because of UAAP games just a few weeks ago, I’ve realized I have more important things to focus on rather than chasing the admin of ‘Adamson Fallen Fuckons’ or trash talking with the students of other UAAP schools or arguing on what school is better in academics and in sports… i seem to have forgotten that i have personal problems to solve…all by myself..myself.
We are not humans if we haven’t encountered any problems at all. Life comes with problems. It depends on the person how he will interpret and solve problems thrown to him. And whether you like it or not, it’s just YOU who could make it up. Your families and friends and the people around you will just serve as a support group that will give you enough encouragement and inspiration for you to handle life’s sticky situations.
*Sigh*
Why are some people fond of making a fan page of themselves when in fact they’re not celebrities or even models of prestigious products?? Tell me i’m harsh, but i guess those people are very conceited enough to think that their social net friends give them so much attention. And what makes them think that they’re popular? ..photo and status likes? comments? friend requests? oh come on! these things are just done through social networking sites. If you want to get the attention of the people, better do something good that will make them remind of you and fan page isn’t a good thing. Never it will be.
This might be a very shallow issue for others but for me, it means so much. Well, i effin hate those people who think that they’re the crowd’s favorite. Hello??? have you done something favorable to your society? like having been involved in clean and green projects and drainage declogging? or have you helped to eliminate corrupt officials? If you’ve already done any of these, then go and make your own fan page and i’ll “like” it for sure! you’ll absolutely gain thousands of “likes”.
Having encountered several people asking to “like” their fan pages made me write this one. Truly, they’re getting into my nerves. How come those “ordinary” people can’t just be contented with their own Facebook accounts? Well, let me clear things out, this is just my opinion. You are free to express your acquiescence and contradiction. Again, this is just a personal opinion. A personal opinion.
It’s exactly 87 days before Christmas while I’m writing this one. Well, as we all know, Christmas is the season when almost everyone feels the need to spend most of their money buying gifts, new dresses and shoes, Christmas decorations, fruits and foods and a lot more. They say, this is the happiest season of the year and it seems that I agree with them since Christmas is one of the many occasions that I’m always excited about. Not because of the gifts and on the foods prepared on the table, but on the gentle wind dampening my skin during December. Funny, isn’t it?
Maybe, just maybe, I’m little too old to expect lots of Christmas gifts from my Godparents and Uncles and Aunties. I don’t if what happens to me happens to other people, that I feel being back to my juvenility whenever this season approaches. Nostalgic. I love the Christmas lights, Christmas trees, everything. Hearing Christmas carols soothes my mood and even makes me look back on the days when Christmas was just about gifts and money and new outfit.
